To launch successfully both locally and globally, our client needed an app design that was ultra modern in design, creating a unique user experience for a younger audience. The app gave a new edge to recruitment in education – offering teachers and schools the opportunity to build an online portfolio and connect without the traditional CV or interview process. This makes recruitment simpler, quicker and more cost-effective, particularly when recruiting across the international market.

Establishing the Brand

Presented simply with a name, our team of designers created a range of concepts, developing those further once the initial ideas had been selected. A minimal neon green logo on a dark charcoal city scene background creates stand-out and impact – the palette was kept deliberately monochrome, with flashes of bright colour to appeal to the target audience.

Developing The App

Created within 2 months, the app needed separate journeys for the client’s two target audiences – teachers and schools. A complex wireframe helped simplify the process, followed by a series of designs for each interface, mapping the contact points at every stage of the journey. This ensured we could provide the app developers, OJO, with all the detail they needed to build the app.

Promotional Video

We introduced video partners, Jooka, to the project to create a short, pacey film with an international feel to enhance the app. Working with Jooka to assist with script writing, actor selection and location, the resulting film gave increased potential to build awareness across all online channels, introducing and explaining the app to new users across the world.
